Sliding Scale Tuition
2024-25 Funding Begins March 2024
Part of the mission of Wild Fern Montessori is to make Montessori education available to all who seek it. Our sliding-scale tuition and application process allows families to tap into funding based on their situations. Each family’s process, documents, and determination are STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL. This scale is based on many factors, such as area demographics, market analysis, and our own business requirements/needs (which also vary in different ways). We aim to be able to assess each family's situation and provide an authentic Montessori education to as many as we can.
EVEN IF YOU THINK YOU CAN’T AFFORD TUITION, you’d be surprised what aid you could receive, as the formula takes into account all aspects of your household outside of total income, such as the amount of savings, amount of investments, amount of indebtedness, medical and dental expenses, any unusual expenses, and other assets such as home equity.
To ensure sensitive information your family provides is kept safe and confidential, we have partnered with TADs to compile the necessary paperwork for each applicant and decide. Things to know:
The application fee for aid is $45 per family (not per child) and is non-refundable. If you receive funding, it will be applied as a credit to your total annual tuition cost.
All documentation must be provided to make a decision properly.
Wild Fern Montessori School will contact families with their final determination.
An enrollment contract will be supplied once the final determination is agreed upon.
Funds are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
FINANCIAL AID IS LIMITED, and you will not be guaranteed funding.
We are excited to offer this option to our community, and we feel it allows us to better align our mission with what our community needs.
IF YOU WISH TO NOT APPLY FOR A SLIDING SCALE RATE, your tuition will automatically be contracted for the higher rate.

Through the ChildCare Aware® of America organization, we are able to dive deeper into our community and extend our equal educational opportunity mission to those families that give the ultimate sacrifice through tuition subsidies.

Forward Foundation
The Forward Foundation offers Supportive Services for single mothers. Some of the primary services include detail client intake, financial planning and budgeting, as well as childcare referrals. Other services may include food pantry, tutoring, Bible study, cooking classes, self care and enrichment programs for both the women and children. In addition we may be able to provide financial assistance for the women in case of a financial hardship.
